Our School Staff

We have a policy of keeping intake numbers small (12 maximum per year group) with a staff/pupil ratio of 1:12.

We also have three part-time teachers for elocution, piano and dance lessons.

All the staff are well qualified, enthusiastic and hardworking, whose overall aim is to recognise each child as an individual with specific talents, capabilities and needs.

School Lunches

All children bring packed lunches and a mid-morning snack. Fresh milk is available each day. Meals are considered to be very special times as the children are encouraged to talk about healthy food and to enjoy eating together. This has an impact on their general well-being and their ability to concentrate.

After-School Club

Busy Bees is our before and after-school club and caters for busy parents. The club is open from 8am and is available for after school care until 6.00pm. Busy bees holiday club is available during most school holidays.

We also have a good as new uniform shop run by the PTA.

All articles of clothing must be marked clearly with the child's name.

Children also require a bag for their PE uniform and a toothbrush and toothpaste.

Our PSHE policy places an emphasis on healthy eating and exercise to maintain a healthy body and the children always brush their teeth after lunch.
